What happens with your data
This is the text every person agrees to before uploading a CV. It is the whole policy: there is no longer version elsewhere.
Evince reads your CV and your answers to a few questions to show you the skills your experience demonstrates, propose roles they point to, and suggest existing courses. To do this, the text you give us is processed by third-party AI providers: Anthropic (skills reasoning), Voyage AI (text matching), hosting provider. We keep your data for 90 days after your last activity unless you delete it earlier. You can delete everything at any time with one click; deletion is immediate and complete, including AI processing logs. Nothing is shared with any employer. Evince recommends learning; it does not deliver it.

In short
- What we collect. The CV you upload, the answers you type, and your verdicts on what we show you. No account, no password, no email unless you choose to leave one.
- What it is used for. Working out the skills your evidence demonstrates and the roles they point to, for you. Nothing is shared with any employer.
- Who processes it. Anthropic (skills reasoning), Voyage AI (text matching), hosting provider. The text you give us goes to the named AI provider to be read; we keep only token counts, cost and timing of those calls, never the text of the exchange.
- How long. 90 days after your last activity, then it is deleted.
- Your control. Delete my data under Your data removes everything at once — the file, the answers, every derived skill and role, and the AI processing logs. Only an anonymous record that a deletion happened remains.
